As a Graphic design intern, I had to work with a team of three to collaborate on visual designs for a
Docu-series. I worked in the pre production, editing, and (motion) graphic designing department of the series. I had to design and animate subtitles, interviewee name tags, and the credits. I used Adobe After Effects and Premiere pro to complete my tasks. The skills I have progressed are leadership, motion designing, collaboration, composition, project managing, problem solving and client services.
Residence Life Staff | Humber College

As a Residence Assistant, I advise and mentor students with academics and personal lives. Build and encourage a sense of community that enforces connectivity. Plan and lead events that aid students academic or personal knowledge. Work cohesively with other Residence Assistants to perform crisis emergencies procedures, create safe environments for all, or to encourage a positive and secure residence life. I have designed and collaborated on graphics for posters, events and meetings to be produced throughout the building. The skills I have and continue to gain are leadership, conflict resolution, collaboration, critical thinking, problem-solving, and mentorship skills.
Freelancer | Mina's Designs

As a Freelancer, I had to manage and produce a small nail business independently. Design and tattoo small line art designs onto clients. Photograph and edit photos for clients using Adobe Creative Suite. Create and produce logos to fit the brand's identity, style, theme, and attitude. Managed, marketed, advertised, to maximum efficiency for positive sale values. The skills I have gained from this was project management, media branding, web design, client managing, software, composition, and better design skills.
Office Administrator | St. John's Presbyterian Church
June 2022-September 2023
As an Office Administrator, I had to collect, file, and organize important documents and information. Strictly finish data analysis', bulletins and PowerPoints to be presented to the congregation of the church. Adapt to last minute changes or environment issues, electricity, plumbing, or structural problems, that had to be urgently tended to and solve them to create an efficient work space. I redesigned and reformatted their weekly bulletins and created designs to go on the front of them. I also programmed a digital sign outside the building and created motion graphics for it. The skills I have gained from working in the position are organization, adaptation, communication/written, attention to detail, time management, and technological skills.
Sales Associate & Assistant Team Leader | Dollarama

As a Sales Associate & Assistant Team Leader, I promoted and advertised different products whilst creating a positive environment and connections with customers. Listened to customers' needs, complaints and inquiries and created viable solutions to fulfill them. I managed and collaborated on team meetings to create store objectives to be completed before end of day. I assisted on end of day routines and money management. The skills I have developed are interpersonal, communication, customer/client, organizational, leadership, adaptability, time management and problem solving skills.
